Cognitivism Overview
Week 3

In week three, we learned about Cognitivism. Cognitivism, a significant shift from behaviorism's dominance in the late 1950s, emerged due to a collective understanding among psychologists. They agreed that learning is not merely a product of behavior, motivation, or reinforcements but a complex interplay of mental processes that facilitate acquiring and retaining new knowledge and information.
